About me
Inspired by generations of my family dance studio, my work revolves around all aspects of dance. My personality is light-hearted, yet high spirited which are qualities that come from teaching children how to dance.
As a dancer, I use my feet and body the same way I use a paintbrush and canvas to create my art. Just as performance would not exist without makeup, lessons, props, music, accessories, shoes and of course the dancer. My works of art are a result of a hands on process. Moving through space is a form of my compositions.
The most obvious trait present in my work is the bright cheerful colors. I believe dance and the visual arts go hand in hand because they are both completely visual and can be interpreted in many ways. Whether working in paint or print media, my work is meant to engage the senses with sheer joy.
